Text: The Gallows of Ukiah, operator of the Travelers Hotel, in Ukiah, have purchased the 56 acre Tydd Tract. They will construction 25-30 room scenic hotel and 30 smaller units in a court formation nearby. Fred Maurer & Son were awarded the contract to build a bridge over the slough which adjoins the highway to provide access to the hotel and court. pg.3 County will receive bids on 9/15 for 2 bridges: one over Bear River 7 miles upstream of CapeTown and one over Bear Creek at Ettersburg.
