Text: County Surveyor George W. Conners just returned from near the Trinity County line where he was doing some survey work. He believes the state highway between Humboldt and Trinity counties will be completed late this fall. It will afford wagon communication. While he was over there in surveyed and laid out 4 miles of road which is to be constructed by the county. This will connect the present county road with what will be the terminus of the state Highway when it's completed. The state Highway will end at Low Gap of Mad River.
