Text: E. W. Gifford of the University of California was a visitor in town on Thursday. He is looking up the language and history of the Indians of Humboldt County. During the past three weeks he has visited Indians at Hoopa, Orleans, Requa, and Maple Creek. At present he is out in the Garberville area.
