Text: Globe Construction company was the successful bidder for the construction of the new post office building at the SW corner of 5th & H. Sec. Ernest Dickson of the Humboldt Clay Manuf. company said his company got the job of providing 800,000 bricks for the building. H.M. Mercer is president of Humboldt Clay Manuf. company bid for the new building was $119,000.
