Text: Yesterday morning at 10am ground was broken for the ER & E RR near the Salmon Creek hotel. There are about 100 chinamen at work. The contractor has 2 mouths to complete the grading contract to Fields farm. Proposals for construction the tunnel & the next 5 miles will be called for next week.
