Text: The new 6.45 mile highway between Arcata and Eureka is 20' feet wide and 7&1/4' feet thick. 16.87 miles of new highway was accepted from the contractors in Oct. 1924 & runs from Trinidad to Freshwater Lagoon. The number of automobiles in the county in 1924 = 4,724 & in 1925 = 8,415
