Text: A special insert of Humboldt State College follows p.16. Good history of the college. It is noted that it started in the old wooden building at 11th and M , formerly the Old Arcata Grammar School. The site was next to the A&M Railroad switch yard, which generated a lot of noise. The college was moved to the 51 acre site that was donated by W.A. Preston and the stakeholders of the Union Water Company.
