Text: When S.O.I. Chapman, by executive order, wrote the Trinity River Diversion Plan into existence. He did so by including that plan in the Federal - State approved Central Valley Project by entitling the Trinity River Diversion Plan, the Trinity River Division of the CVP of CA. When the original CA Water Plan was approved by the CA legisl. in about 1932, a Trinity River Diversion Plan was authorized therein as a portion of the CVP. Subsequently, during 1939 the CA Legisl, upon reconsidering that project, removed it in entirety from the CVP.
