Text: The Humboldt Milling Company in Fortuna has 1,600 cords of shingle bolts on hand. One cord makes 10,000 shingles. Their machinery can turn out 100,000 shingles/day. The company was organized in 1888. After Mr. Swartzell died, George Lone was promoted to the position made vacant by his death. At present George is President.
