Text: " Immense Tract of Timber Land Sold" The American Lumber company has sold 36,314.27 acres on Redwood creek to A.B. Hammond. The land is located in 79N; R1W; T9N; R1E; T9N; R2E; T10N; R1E; T10N; R2E; T11N; 2E; 13N; 2E. This immense tract was put together some 18 yrs ago by the late David Evans, H.C. Putnam of Chicago and others. This is the largest transfer of timberland ever made in CA.
