Text: Items from Ferndale. The beach at Eel River entrance is covered with strawberries. In this same column it is stated that strawberries are rapidly ripening on south beach and are plentiful. On 6/1/1878 F. Leach says south beach isn't a good place to pick strawberries. Barrett's Crossing of Eel River is now fardable.
