Text: J.A. Genzoli died, at 80 yrs old. He came to Humboldt County in 1895. He was among many swiss youths who were to form an early vanguard to Humboldt County to take their places in the new & booming dairy industry. At that time most of the diarying was carried out in the Bear River - Bunker Hill area. Dianying in the tree and brush laden Eel Valley was just getting underway in earnest.
