Text: Congressman J.E. Wheeler of Endeavor, Pa, with W.B., W.E., E.L. and H.R. Mercereau, who with Wheeler were the purchasers of the 32,000 acre Big Lagoon Tract from C.A. Hooper. They arrived Saturday evening by auto from S.F. and were accompanied by Geo. E. Tuman of Fruitvale. Price paid for 32,000 acres of RW = $4 million. They will drive up to Big Lagoon this week to inspect their property.
