Text: J.N. Lentell proposed a route for a RR that would run east all the way to Winnemucca, Nevada. As a retired C.E. he noted he has surveyed the territory over a period of years. His proposal is in a letter to Mayor John P. Ryan. This RR would join the Western Pacific and Southern Pacific RR's in Nevada. In general it would follow the Red Bluff highway and pass betw Red Bluff and Anderson. It would enter Nevada NE of Wendell.
