The Korbel Bros. Railroad is running as far up the river as Skedaddle. The franie of the North Fork Mill is up & the remaining section of their railroad is being pushed as rapidly as possible. Two piers for the bridge over Mad River are under construction. They are constructed by driving piles down some 20' feet and sawing them off flush with the riverbed and bolting a stout trestle work to them.
