Text: Another extensive tract of Redwood timber standing alongside the recently acquired Redwood near Big Lagoon will be added through the generosity of the Lagoon Lumber Company. This announcement was made by J.D. Grant, Chairman of the Bd of Dir of the Save The Redwood League. H.W. Cole of the Lagoon Lumber Company had made the offer to Mr. Grant. Other companies have also donated Redwood land adjacent to the new highway R/W - Hammond Lumber Company and Standish and Hickey Lumber Company.
