Text: P. W. Mathews has disposed of his 222 acres of swamp and overflow land at Big Lagoon to the Lagoon Lumber Company, owners of 34,000 acres of Redwood adjacent to the Lagoon. The 222 acres has been the cause of litigation between Mathews and the lumber company for the past 18 years.
