Text: The Humboldt Golf & Country Club on Humboldt Hill bought the old original Fields Landing water system from Mrs. Jennine M Fields. That system was in use for nearly 50 yrs. It is fed by nine large springs a short distance north of Fields Landing. The Country Club rebuilt the system - to provide 36,000 gp day. There are 5 photos with the article - one of the club house, the water storage tank, the sump where the water is collected, piping, and club members.
