Text: Large chunks of ice were seen floating down to the mouth of the Klamath River. The boatman that runs up the river to collect school children ran into an ice jam 6 miles upstream. It was 8' - 10' feet high. This is the first time in history an ice jam has formed this close to the mouth of the Klamath.
