Text: Photos of large waves pounding South jetty at mouth of Humboldt Bay. Concrete blocks weighing 20 tons each are moved 150-200 yards from origin placement last weekend. The project has been underway for 2 years. Rebar was all that remained after 20,000 c.y. of concrete was washed away.
