Text: Lazio will begin operating Hum. Bay's first salmon cannery next Wed. or Thurs. This is the first in this area since the pioneer fishing days when a cannery existed for gill-net caught fish on the lower Eel River. Lazio has been canning crab up to now but that will be deferred for the rest of the season.
