Text: Charles R. Barnum died yesterday at age 52. He had extensive timber holdings in all parts of the County. He was a member of the Calif. Forest Practices Comm. He was born on Sept. 3, 1900 to Fred B. and Jessie Barnum. The house is at 2427 G street. Charles had a son, Charles Robert Barnum, Jr. Charles had a deep interest in Humboldt County History & was interested in the HCH Society. His wife was Helen Wells Barnum. Fred G. Barnum was his brother. Mrs. JoAnn Starre was one of 3 daughters.
