Mrs. Zipporah Russ died last Sunday, 11 - 10 - 1929, at Fern Cottage. Born 11 - 21 - 1839 in Pennsylvania. Crossed the plains with her family in 1852. Come to Humboldt County in 1853. In Dec 1854 she married Joe Russ she had 13 children. Joe died in 1866.
