Text: C.S. Ricks is digging a new water well on his property to secure a water supply for a city of up to 10,000 people. The well is to be 22' X 22' feet square & dug down to 45' feet to tap the vein of water from which the present supply is obtained. He has experienced some quicksand problems so he's driving piles down to the 45' feet level to which he will attach planking.
