Text: "Little River Company to Give County 50 acre tract at Big Lagoon". In a week or so, the Little River Redwood Company will deed a 50 acre tract at BL as a donation to Humboldt County to use as a recreation park. LRRW officials indicated 2-3 months ago that it was the purpose of the company deed to the county the sand beach extending northward from the present county recreation grounds know as Clam Beach. This donation as it is understand, is to be made to the county in return for the Redwood which supervisors gave the company through the county tract at Clam Beach for the company's Railroad. This tract of sand beach comprises between 40 - 50 acres. Now comes the announcement by Superv. George J. Cole to the effect that LRRW Company will donate to the country also the 50 acre lying just south of Big Lagoon and fronting on both the ocean beach and Big Lagoon.
