Text: Long discussion of the 12-18 month boom that occurred when the CA RW company took over operations at Trinidad & Freshwater- then it all come to a halt when fraud was claimed by the U.S. Many men were left idle while the courts dealt with the charges. The Excelsior Lumber company has acquired 20,000 acres which was transferred to the RW company together with the mill on the island formerly operated by J. Russ & company. The new directors are C.A. Hooper, George W. Hooper, Joseph Russ, David Evans and John Houlton. The timber land they acquired is mainly in the Freshwater section.
