Text: Members of the Eureka C of C discussed the demise of the yacht club last night. Capt. Walter Coggleshall noted it costs about $3000/yr to maintain and operate. He noted there are about 160 members and the annual membership for is $9 and guest fees = 50ยข. He believes that the community of Eureka should not let the club to languish and die. He noted some 300 youngsters learned to swim there last year.
