Mr. L.R. Scoofry, a timber man from LA, took a trip up and back from Requa in his Peerless touring car. He said the roads, though narrow, are in very good condition. Fred Smythe and Milton Carson will drive down to S.F. and back in Carson's big White steam touring car this week. This will give the car a good tryout on the grades of the overland road.
