Text: Mr. & Mrs. Earl Sawyer spent Sunday at Big Lagoon. As Earl was putting off in his boat he saw a gleam in the water which proved to be a piece of eight bits, which could at one time have been dropped by a Spanish buccaneer. Mr. Sawyer says this particular type of coin is very scarce and has added it to his collection.
