Text: Mrs. Eleanor Gross Wells died at 74 yrs old. Her home was at 703 8th st. She is the widow of Mayor Willard Wells. She had a son, Carlton G. Wells, and a daughter, Mrs. Helen W. Barnum. She was the daughter of Dr. Reuben Gross and the sister of the late Dr. Harold Gross. Surviving grandchildren are Mary and Joann Barnum of Eureka; and Carlton Wells, Jr. of Eureka; Betty Barnum of S.F. and Eleanor and Carole Wells of Santa Rosa.
