Text: Mrs. George R. Lane brought in another RW scene which the county has purchased thru the Fair Commissioners W.S. Clark and J.F. Coonan, to be used in the county display at the Panama-Pacific exposition in 1915. The canvas measures 3'x4' and is at the Eureka Development Assoc. rooms of G st. The scene is from the Carson Woods near Fortuna and is called the "Hunters Camp." The campfire is in the foreground w/ a 7 point buck hanging from a rod. Mrs. Lane is on her way now to Trinidad where she will paint some coast scenes. She will stop at the G.W. Baker ranch while there.
