Text: A new summer bridge over the Eel two miles south of Scotia was completed by Mercer Fraser. They are also constructing a new bridge over the Eel for the state and county. Travelers may now use the state highway without ferrying the Stitz Creek bluff. The summer bridge is about 1,000 feet below the new state highway bridge under construct.
