Text: Arcata nears completion of new sewage plant. Should be done by November 15th. Arcata also installed two 24' diameter caisons sunk 30' into water gravels of the Mad River. Three intake laterials are connected to caisons to produce up to 1200 gpm. Work began on constr. of up to 31 homes in Curtis Heights. Richard Leitch of Pasadena was architect.
