Text: 1915 The B.O.S. awarded a contract to Mercer Fraser for the construction of a steel bridge across the Eel at Scotia. Arther Logan drew up the plans. This bridge will replace the ferry. Wildwood did not exist yet. In 1940 this original steel bridge is being replaced by a larger wider structure by the state highway dept. The B.O.S. deadlocked on whether to appropriate $8,600 from the Gen. Fund for the Lord - Ellis Road from Blue Lake on north.
