Text: "Northern Humboldt" The spile bridge across the Mad River is completed. The Railroad track is being laid on the heels of the grader. The employees of the Arcata Land & Improvement Commission have been burning the dried out marsh grass below (behind ?) the Zehnder dyke. About 400 acres have been burned.
