The North Mtn Power Company has an option to purchase the Eureka Lighting Company. The property of the Eureka Lighting Company consists of two light power stations; one on C Street know as station A and one at the foot of Whipple Street; also a gas plant at the foot of H Street and a new gas plant under construction adjacent to the Whipple Street plant, know as Station B. The Eureka Lighting Company is the pioneer in the local electric light, power, and gas field.
