continued - With his wife he has resided for many years past on the Harvey Baker place near the ocean beach not far from Trinidad. The widow has announced that no money nor valuables will be buried with him as has been the Indian custom in the past, due to the fact that valuables buried with a nephew some years ago were exhumed by miscreants to secure the buried treasure. With is passing, the last male member of the old Trinidad Indian Tribe went out of this life. Only three women remain. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 1934, at 2 pm at the Presbyterian Church in Trinidad. Internment will be in the Trinidad Cemetery.
