"Old Timer! Do You Remember When ..." This column describes the old gun factory & building at the corner of Sonoma and H streets. It was erected in the late 1880's; the business of manuf. guns didn't succeed; the building burned down one night - it was on old landmark for many years. Tramps occupied it off & on. Mr. W.R. Finch was the original holder of the patents on firearms & built the plant.
