Text: Fairhaven Dock. Over a million BF of timber is being shipped a month from the Coast RW Co. plant at Klamath to the A.K. Wilson remanufacturing plant in L.A. Surplus from the mill is stored at Fairhaven. The Fairhaven dock has been in operation since 9/1/46 and has 4400' of bay-frontage and extends across the Samoa peninsula to the ocean. On one portion of the prop. Mutual Plywood Co. will be erected next year. About 700 thousand BF of RW is being air dried at the storage yard before being shipped to L.A.
