Text: Patrick Quinn of Table Bluff, sold 20 acres on Table Bluff to the U.S. GOV. on April 11, 1908. The deal was negotiated about 3 yrs ago. The deed was placed on file about last Friday. The land was purchased for use by the BIA. The BIA will allow the land to be used by Indians living around Hookton, Table Bluff, and the marshes. Price paid $300. The deed was placed on record by F.W. Georgeson, acting for the gov. Similar parcels have been purchased in Blue lake and Trinidad for use by Indians living in those areas. These deals were consummated at about the same time as Table Bluff and the land is about the same size as the Table Buff purchase.
