Text: The paving of the 101 between Eureka and Arcata has commenced. The road will be closed to traffic for 3 months. A narrow gauge railroad track will be laid over which rail cars will haul the mixed concrete. Construction of the fill was started in 1918. During construction traffic will be diverted at 4th & P to 7th.
