Text: Paving of the county road from Arcata to Alliance was started by Mercer-Fraser yesterday. Paving of the second half section of Old Arcata Road from Ryan's Slough to Freshwater will start next week. Traffic is being routed over the uncompleted half while the concrete on the first half cures.
