Text: Hammond Lumber Company & 10 freeholder have files a petition to the BOS to abandon & vacate a stretch of the old Crescent City trail or road beginning at the State Highway near the Plitsch House ( Dry Lagoon just south of the old Little Red School House) & running west to the beach, thence north on the sand spit & cont. over the hill to Stone Lagoon & cont. north on that sand spit & on north over the divide to Freshwater lagoon & cont. north on the sand split to a spot in Section 5, 10N, 1E (near Orick Bob's House) and the short section that runs easterly from the common corners of sections 7, 8, 17, 18, 1N, 1E, to the old County road it crosses the divide between Stone Lagoon & Freshwater Lagoon.
