Text: New PG&E line extensions will bring new power to several areas of Humboldt. Communities now receiving power for the first time include the Mattole Valley, Dann Creek, Eel Rock, Bell Springs, Fort Seward, Alderpoint, Blocksburg, Isiand Mtn, McCann, Harris. Power will be brought for the first time to the Trinity River Valley through the construction of 20 miles of new power lines. Another distribution line will be constructed into Redwood Valley by way of Berry Summit. Negotiations for R/W are underway for a line to Orleans & Weitchpec.
