Text: Photo of William on a horse & obituary of William Clark, pioneer stockman, Petrolia area. He arrived to Petrolia with his parents at age 4 in 1866. He raised beef cattle up until 1923 at which time he sold all cattle and switched to sheep. His ranch was near the mouth of the Mattole. In 1883 he married Dora Hunter. She died in 1933. They had 7 children. He died at 87 years.
