The red cedar piling was delivered from Everett, Washington on the ship Samoa owned by Hammond Lumber Company. The piling were rafted over to Eureka from Samoa, loaded on trucks, & taken to Big Lagoon. The trestle should be completed by Aug. 1. Mercer Fraser is construction the trestle.
