Text: A party of men who own property in the eastern part of the city between 6th street & the bay are making arrangements to construction a sewer system at their own expense. If the city would encourage Rick's to run water lines to that area, it would be of much benefit. Re: fire protection. The cistern at 5th & M is empty. The artesian well just above there is plugged. Several timber land notices for filings of 160 acres in T7N, R2E.
