Text: Rails for the construction of the track from the Milwaukee Spur to the North Jetty will arrive in Eureka on the steamer Bee on the next trip from S.F. Mercer Fraser has 6 teams of horses and a crew of men at work on the grade 3000' feet south of the junction with the Milwaukee Spur. When completed the railroad will carry materials to the North Jetty from the lines of the N.W.P. RR at Samoa.
