Text: Ranchers got together and financed a survey of a road route from a point midway between Bridgeville and Blocksburg to French's resort on the Eel 3 mi south of McConn. on the NWP RR. The route is 10 miles long and requires one br. over Laribbee crk. They were going to ask the B.O.S to assist in constructing the road. J.H. French agreed to establish a ferry as soon as the road is constr.
