Text: Article noting the rapid development in Eureka over the past 4-5 years. What used to be know as Eddy's Pasture is now covered with houses way out to the edge of the marsh, on the bay, & from there all the way around to where the county road crosses the slough just side of the cemetery. The same occurred out at the Clarks Addition. 5 years ago it was a dense growth of brush & timber. Since then a large number of houses have been built & others are continually being put up. Out towards the Prairie Addition the town is also growing.
